In this episode of Milk to Meat, we explore a powerful question:

What privileges come with being a child of God?

Salvation is more than forgiveness — it is adoption. And adoption brings privileges.

When we become children of God, we receive:

🔹 Intimate Access to the Father

We approach God not as strangers, but as sons and daughters. We cry “Abba, Father.”

God is not standing over us with a wagging finger, waiting for us to fail. He is a loving Father who invites us to come boldly in prayer, without fear, knowing we are accepted and loved.

🔹 Eternal Security & Inheritance

Romans 8:16–17 tells us that if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.

We are promised eternal life, future glory, and a secure place in His family. Our inheritance is not temporary — it is eternal.

🔹 Divine Protection & Provision

God walks with His children through trials.

Protection does not mean bad things will never happen. Scripture is clear — we will face suffering. But we never face it alone. Our Father shields us spiritually, sustains us in hardship, and provides what we truly need.

🔹 Guidance of the Holy Spirit

The Spirit leads us, strengthens us, convicts us, comforts us, and confirms that we belong to God. We are not navigating life by ourselves. The Spirit of God dwells within us.

🔹 Freedom Under Grace

We are no longer slaves to sin or fear.

Living under grace does not mean we have a license to sin — it means we are no longer under condemnation. Grace empowers obedience. It transforms our hearts so we desire holiness, not rebellion.

🔹 Righteous Standing & New Identity

Through Christ, we are forgiven and reconciled to God.

Our identity is no longer defined by our past, our failures, or our shame. We are sons and daughters. We are heirs. We are loved. We are being shaped into Christ’s likeness.

This episode reminds us:

Being a child of God is not just a title — it is a position filled with privilege, security, responsibility, and hope.
